We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented post-doctoral researcher, not currently in a permanent post, who is interested in research in any aspect of death, dying or bereavement in the context of social care. This four year fellowship will lead to an offer of a permanent academic appointment on successful completion of a normal academic probationary period during years 2-4 of the fellowship. Full training will be provided for the transition into a permanent post and teaching responsibilities will be introduced progressively. Salary will be in the range £27,466 – £32,796 (Grade 7) with the possibility at or progression to the range £33,779 – £40,335 (Grade 8) for an exceptional candidate.
